UCSF Retirees Association

The UCSF Retirees Association (UCSFRA) is one of UC's most active retirees associations!

UCSFRA members enjoy many benefits, including participation in our many events and activities.  From 2008 to 2010, UCSFRA sponsored or hosted nearly 100 events attended by approximately 3500 members and their guests. Nearly every month our Program Committee offers members one (or more!) cultural, educational, recreational or social event(s), drawing upon the wonderful depth and diversity of the Bay Area.

Members enjoy luncheons with former colleagues and retiree friends, attend the San Francisco Symphony at a discount, join docent tours of resident collections as well as visiting exhibitions at major Bay Area museums, attend SF Opera's Merola performances, tour gardens & parks, cruise the bay, hike Bay Area trails.  The list goes on and on.

Members also enjoy a network of support that helps keep us connected to UC, to UCSF and to each other through news and updates, and links to important information relvant to all UC retirees.

In these ways, membership in the UCSF Retirees Association offers numerous opportunities to stay active and to stay connected with old friends and colleagues, while making new friends along the way.

If you are a UCSF retiree or a retiree from any UC campus or laboratory living in or near San Francisco, we hope you will accept our invitation to join us (application/pdf, 24.8 kB, info).  If you are already a member, we appreciate your continued participation and encourage you to contact us with your suggestions regarding how we may better serve you.
